The Full Story
Jonathan and Jolene Ray reside in Stetson, Maine with their 7 children. Jonathan has been preaching at Lagrange Community Baptist Church since 2008. In 2016 he was also employed by Child Evangelism Fellowship of Central Maine. Jonathan is now the Local Director of Central Maine CEF, which consists of two other full time staff members. Central Maine CEF has a threefold purpose, to evangelize the children, disciple the children, and connect the children to a local church for Christian living. Jonathan recognizes that the need to reach the children is more important now than ever! The CEF ministry primarily focuses on after school programs called Good News Club and summer ministry of 5 Day Clubs. Partnering with the local church is a passion for Jonathan and he understands the rural church!
Jolene holds a New Media and Communication degree from University of Maine. She is a stay at home mom and homeschools their children, Josie, Jon, Josiah, Jasper, Jonas, Joelle and Jaxon. Jolene and the kids try their best to accompany Jonathan for ministry! The whole family is immersed in the work of missions!
